My Story
Hi! I’m Krishna.
Founder of Madhuban, the enchanted garden.
I inherited the love of gardening from my father, who had nurtured a beautiful garden in the city of Pune, India. Taking care of plants came naturally to me. My love for plants bloomed as I grew older. I fondly remember how my husband Madhukar and I would take weekend trips to different nurseries and bring back home rare and unique species of plants. Soon our home began looking like a rain forest amidst harsh and unforgiving summers of Ahmedabad.
Recently, I lost Madhukar, after being together for 55 years. I’ve since moved to Jersey City, NJ to be with my kids. Madhuban is my dedication to him, an ode to his inner beauty and unwavering spirit that brought a wave of joy wherever he went.
I hope my plants can do the same.
